The meeting to decide on captains worked out well, although a few people still didn't show up. Minutes of the meeting were taken, and can be found here. The meeting was very productive, and should help us organize this team so that we can get the Battlebot done this year!   We really need to figure out who is interested in Battlebots before any captain meetings can be organized.

The next meeting is on September 29th at PACT and goes from 3:30PM - 4:30PM. This meeting should help us figure out how much interest in battlebots there is. If you have any questions, contact Deblockholmes.

Next Thursday, Feb 3rd at 7:00 p.m. we are having a meeting for the Battle Bots parents. We'll share all the info that we have regarding our trip to Florida, and what your student can do to earn money for the trip. We'd also like to know if any of the families are planning on coming down. If you have any questions, feel free to call me, or bring your questions to the meeting.

Although the new site is up, there are many things that need to be updated and fixed. Don't be surprised to see quite a few changes during the next week or so. Look out for some graphical updating also.

The competition is scheduled for April 12 - 17th, 2005. I didn't ask how much of that was for college, and how much was for getting ready, but you can at least plan to be available that week. Mark your calendars now!

I just heard last night that the competition this year will be at Universal Studios in Florida. Start saving your pennies, the trip will be a little more spendy this year, but fun.
